Turning pens on a wood lathe is a delicate work and the worst thing that can happen is to split or crack the casing during assembly afterwards. Designed to make pen assembly easier, this Centurion pen press also helps with disassembly without damaging the mechanism.
What distinguishes this press from all those on the market is its ability to perform both the assembly and the disassembly of pens. Carefully designed, it offers control, reliability and precision thanks to the following features:
- Large anodized aluminum base with machined rack resting on 4 rubber feet for more stability. Measures 17"(430mm) long x 4"(100mm) wide and weighs 5.5lb (2.5kg)
- Powerful toggle press with an adjustable aluminum piston and a long operating handle for better travel control (3/4"/20mm)
- At the other end, there is a stationary stop with an adjustable aluminum piston for special applications
- A mobile cart with clamps controlled by a large button is located in the centre. Below the base, a locking lever allows the cart to be secured to the required location on the rack
- Designed for assembly, a nylon spring piston (5/8"/15mm travel) allows to hold the parts in place against the press piston
- A set of accessories designed for disassembly including 6 push rods of 3.0, 5.5, 6.0, 7.0, 8.5, 9.0mm dia, a 7mm dia bushing and a rubber protective tube
