Description

Whether we like it or not, in a shop, there is dust and we do not always have the time or the desire to vacuum. For small quick clean-ups, it is always convenient to have a good bench brush on hand.

Commonly called "Bannister", this brush model was primarily used for the dusting of mouldings or between the rungs of stair railings.

Canadian made, this brush is made with horsehair bristles and is intended for a more thoughtful use. It has the following features:

  • 13-½"(35cm) total length
  • 1-½"(40mm) wide
  • 4 rows of bristles, 8-½"(22cm) long x 2-½"(65mm) height
  • 5"(12.5cm) long wooden handle with hanging hole

Horse hair is rigid but soft and comes from the mane and tail of horses which makes it a little more expensive.  For a dusting without scratch, you will appreciate the virtues of its natural hair which allows picking up fine dust often left by other brushes.
