The boring group can be used in vertical, horizontal position or set at any angle to drill either construction or in-line holes in particle board or solid wood.
Two reference stops are used to measure the thickness of the work piece while drilling in the horizontal position. Once the reference is registered on these stops, it will be used to drill in the vertical position using the same material without having to measure the exact position to drill.
Two side stops, mounted on the front graduated rail, can be used to mount the 3 meter ruler in a longitudinal or transversal position. the 3 meter ruler is equipped with 4 flip stops to drill holes in the intermediate shelves and center section or simply as a right and left reference when boring in a vertical and horizontal position.
Height of the boring group while in horizontal position is shown on a mechanical readout.
Boring depth can also be programmed on a 6 position "Revolver" type stop with a boring depth reference system to avoid through boring when machine is switched from horizontal boring to vertical position.
