While sounds can give us pleasure, noise is more likely to create problems for us. The intensity of the noise is measured in decibels (dB). In everyday life, noise is between 30 and 90 dB and can be harmful if it exceeds that level.

In order to avoid any complications of hearing, it is strongly recommended to use adequate protections such as earplugs or earmuffs.

This protective equipment is often identified with a noise reduction rating (NRR) that indicates the level of decibel attenuation that should be expected.

• The shells are made of orange-colored thermoplastic on the outside and dampening foam on the inside
