We all know the importance of safety and prevention when working in our workshop. But we all have our lazy habits too. The Boss candidly admits, in the past, he sometimes did not start his dust collector to make a simple cut on his saw or a short pass on his jointer, planer or even his sander...

In fact, all the reasons were good: his dust collector was too far, it was too noisy, that would not take time, etc... But since he tried this new Centurion remote control, no more stories, no more excuses.

  • Whether it is an air cleaner, a dust collector, a fan or other, this handy remote control is the perfect solution for turning your equipment on and off from a distance of up to 75 feet!
  • The remote controller and the switch box are very easy to install and program. Simply plug the switch box into a wall outlet, plug your equipment into the switch box, power on your equipment and push the power button on the remote
  • This remote control is specifically designed to be used on equipment that has standard on/off push-button or toggle switches (not for use with magnetic starters)
  • The switch box measures 5-1/2"(140mm) long x 3-1/4"(85mm) wide x 2-3/4"(70mm) high and is equipped with overload relay and a 12 AWG type 60"(150cm) long electric cord
  • CSA-approved, it connects to a standard 220V outlet and is good for a maximum 3HP (20A) motorized equipment
  • Measuring 5-5/8"(145mm) long x 2-1/2"(60mm) wide, the remote control requires a 9V battery (incl.). Made in the paddle shape, its size makes it easy to keep track of and hard to lose
  • Weighing (.2lb/.1kg), it fits well in your shop apron pocket and can be activated without removing it since the on/off button is at your fingertips
  • It has a fixing lug that enables you to attach it to you or to your unit. You may also apply Velcro patches to your different equipment, like the rip fence on your table saw, so it is always within reach
  • Because it is a radio frequency remote, it works through walls and does not need to be pointed directly at the switch box as with your TV remote

This remote control will save you time and steps. It will help keep your workshop much cleaner and, more important, keep you focused on your projects.

Distance must no longer be an excuse!

Boss’s advice: make sure the motor of your equipment does not exceed the amp range otherwise it will pop the relay on the switch box.
