The Boss finally decided to change his old Delta (which gave up the ghost) for a larger capacity model. As he had a bit of budget and a good contact at Normand…, he set his sights on the Bosch 12" axial miter saw with articulated arm because it also included the famous T4B base
- In addition to providing a smooth and very precise movement, the Axial-Glide™ system allows to locate directly against a wall thereby reducing the footprint and limiting the loss of space at the back
- Supplied with a 12"dia x 60t carbide blade, it offers much more cutting capacity and its large protective cover allows better visualization when cutting
- Since all controls are located upfront, adjustments (miter and bevel) are quick and easy to make. Equipped with stops, scales and measures are clear and easy to read
- The dust bag and the connecting elbow are not harmful and it is possible to easily connect a vacuum cleaner for optimal performance
- The main table is fitted with 2 small extension tables offering real support for long pieces. In addition, a tool less vertical clamp can adapt quickly, either to the right or to the left of the table
- Fitted with a brake, its 15amp motor runs at 3800 rpm and is operated by a soft grip handle equipped with an ambidextrous trigger with a notch of stop
This “Gravity Rise” T4B stand for miter saw includes 2 universal tool mounts to fit most miter saws on the market. Once mounted, it is easy to remove the saw and put it back without the use of tools.
The stand is equipped with end side support adjustable in height to match the size of the saw in place and can extend in width to support material up to 16-1/2 feet long. An adjustable stop is fixed on each support to facilitate repetitive cuts.
Foldable, it is equipped with 2 wheels with hard rubber tires and 2 adjustable leveling feet for use on uneven surfaces
It measures 51" wide (103" extended) x 28" deep x 38" high and weighs 77 lbs.
