Manufactured by RAZORSAW, this Dozuki type Japanese saw is a universal model for general work in cabinetmaking, specifically for dovetails making. It allows maximum control and precision with minimum of effort.
- It is a more compact model with a 180mm (7") long blade that makes it easier to store in a toolbox
- The Dozuki type is characterized by a long rigid backsplash covering the entire blade to facilitate guidance and to better support its fine blade
- The thin 0.3mm thick removable blade has a 25t/in (pitch=1.0mm) cutting edge, allowing it to make a thin clean cut free of burrs
- The blade is coated with micro-thin nickel to prevent rust and tarnish
- It is fixed to an elastomer (EVA) wrapped handle that makes the grip more comfortable when conditions are either very hot or very cold
