Description

Manufactured by RAZORSAW, this Japanese “pull” stroke saw is very popular for general works in cabinetry and schools, particularly for dovetails making. It allows better control and an increased accuracy with the lowest effort.

  • Equipped with a rigid backsplash that is intended primarily to facilitate guidance and to better support its fine blade
  • The Tatebiki type is characterized by a backsplash covering only 80% of the blade to allow for deeper cuts during ripping operations
  • The edge of the blade is curved at the front (ZA) to make it easier the start of mid-panel cuts
  • The thin 0.3mm thick removable blade has a 17t/in (pitch=1.5mm) cutting edge that allows it to make a clean cut free of burrs
  • The 240mm (9-½") long blade offers a longer reach and is coated with micro-thin nickel to prevent rust and tarnish
  • It is fixed to an elastomer (EVA) wrapped handle that makes the grip more comfortable when working conditions are either very hot or very cold

NB: also available in the 180mm series
