It is then tempting to blame the need for sharpening when the problem can often be solved by a simple proper cleaning.
EasyClean cleaning agent is a water-based solution recommended for effectively removing resin build-up or other residues from cutting tools such as blades, cutters, drill bits, knives, collars, tool holders and much more. Its non-toxic formula is 100% biodegradable. It contains no solvents and is non-flammable.
Available in a 1-litre format, EasyClean does not foam. Its high concentration requires it to be diluted in water as needed up to a ratio of 1 litre of EasyClean to 2 litres of water. The use of hot water promotes dilution and enhances the detergent properties of the product.
This also makes it an excellent cleaner for aluminum parts that are prone to corrosion and tarnishing from the use of a traditional detergent. The use of a manual brush after soaking is sufficient, but it can also be used in automatic cleaning devices.
