Description

Wood turning essentially boils down to 2 types: turning between the centers in which we can make pens, spindles, legs and poles and turning on the headstock where we can do bowls, boxes, burls and platters. Thus, the choice of turning chisels will vary depending on the type you would like to do.

The Boss greatly appreciates the Hamlet chisel selection manufactured by Henry Taylor® for over 150 years. Made in Sheffield, England, world renowned region for the quality of its steel, this company has learned to combine traditional production techniques with modern tempering processes. Made of M2 grade high speed steel with high wear resistance, these tools offer an excellent value for your money and are recognized around the world

All chisels are provided with a dark color hardwood (ash or beech) handle equipped with a solid bronze ferrule, all reflecting a high level of quality and refinement.

As its name suggests, this gouge is used to roughen round or square raw pieces. For this type of work, bigger is better. All gouges are referenced from the outside diameter.
